Last day with my dad

Der folgende Monolog aus der Sitcom "Modern Family" erinnerte mich aufgrund seiner Art und Weise (nicht des Inhalts wegen) bittersüß an meinen Vater.
"When I was growing up, he was the cool dad. He was hip. He knew all the dances from Grease. He knew all the expressions: bff best friend forever, tmi to much information, bj blue jeans. It makes me feel lucky.
We didn't do much that day, but it might have been one of the best days I had with my dad.
I just didn't know it will be the last."
